History
Established in 2004, First Thursday Gallery Walk exists to bring art and the
public together. By embracing the diverse culture of our neighborhoods, the heritage of our ancestors, and the rich history of
our riverfront community, Gallery Walk has established itself as an exciting addition to the thriving downtown area. In celebration of
its 2nd year anniversary, Gallery Walk is pleased to be recognized by the American Cancer Society as a venue to advocate
their commitment to eliminate cancer as a major heath problem. Together we present Gallery Gala--a partnership in
which downtown merchants, eateries, and galleries proudly showcase their talent for generosity and service to the community. As a
ticket holder, we thank you for joining with us to help achieve the goals of the American Cancer Society.
